    Changing a Supercharger wheel

    Hi Guys

    Considering an ET Low boost wheel for my FXSHO and want to try to fit it myself if its easy enough. I could find plenty of threads on SC clutches but no instructions on just changing the wheel. Would like to see any tips or tricks and\or if any special tools required.
    Must be a reason (So easy or too hard) why there are no posts on upgrading your SC wheels.

    Someone must have replaced a S/C wheel, is it that easy or not?

    It's easy
    Just remember the nut that holds the super charger impeller down is left hand thread

    I bought the R&D gear holder and vice plate to make it even easier

    take the old one out and tighten to 66 inch pounds

    Tell me is it hard to get at the S/C to get it off the motor?

    Should be a lot easier once you get it over to the workbench.

    Not difficult with the correct tools. I changed a shaft and impeller on the trailer at Mudbug.
