RXPX 260 - wont start - completely dead of power

... loaded in the water Saturday, slipped the key in and nothing... no beeps, no dash, NOTTA..
seems like a simple "dead battery" deal. I brought it home flipped it onto a charger overnight,. tried it again.. nothing
hmmmmm.. put a volt meter on it... it was reading 12.7 volts .. hmmmm

pulled the battery out, retested the voltage 12.7 again,.. cleaned the posts, checked the fuses put it back in..
    still DEAD.. NO LIFE !!
im sure this battery is old... no date on it (i just bout these skis last month) 2012
ive been reading that they are quirky with the batteries .. i was hoping for a better diagnosis before i dropped a $150 on a battery...
    any other ideas ??

    thanks

If it was just the start button , it would beep and have dash, just not turn over.

On the iControl skis the start button wakes up the ski, not the dess post key insertion.

If the cluster doesn't light up and you don't hear the fuel pump prime when you press start than the ECU is not getting power or signal from they start button. There should be noticeable "electronics sounds" coming from the engine bay when you press the start button.

If fuses are good it sounds like the start button is acting up.
