2011 FZR rough idle and warning beep

Had to replace the clutch, of course, broken teeth so I pulled the engine, fixed everything and put it back in. Fired right up but is running rough and has a continuous warning tone. Because I don't know what the warning is and the rough running, I did not let it run long.

We have checked everything, every wire connection, hose, etc. Cannot figure it out. We are replacing plugs tomorrow but I don't believe that is the issue. Where else can I check?

Hold the voltage button for 4sec and check what code you get....while the ski is running with the check engine light is on.

I have no way to check codes unfortunately. I've tried finding information that tells me what a continuous warning tone means with no luck.

Maybe this? overheat? Only tone that's continuous that I can find in manual.

well like rivera racing suggested, this is the only way to find error code without YDIS... just lightly press start button, (not starting) when display comes on hold volt/hour button and a number will appear on the dash, let us know the code you get.

Thanks. I did find the info about the voltage button and getting a code there. The tone came on immediately upon cranking and although a continuous tone seems to indicate overheat, there is no way it was overheating from the first second of running right? I will see what code I can get from the display this afternoon.

What I do know is that even if that is an overheat alarm, that would not cause the rough running.

Minor update. Changed plugs and there was minor improvement. Got the code by pressing the voltage button and it says "15" which is Engine Stop Lanyard Switch? Doesn't make sense. Took it to someone who can diagnose it so we will see what he comes up with.
