PX Pump Wedge & Pump Seal

I see these products in Jerry's store but wanted to ask about these first.

Are most people running the pump seal on the PX? I assume so given what it's purpose is for, wanted to double check.

On the wedges, I see the purpose and understand what it does, but I see a few different options (2 degree, 2.5 degree, and one with a VTS extender rod). Do you guys like a particular one if at all? Would I need the extended rod version?

I see Fizzle nozzle rings too but not a lot of talk about them.

    Thanks guys.

The pump seal fights off cavitation and works very well. The wedge IS for the older rxp's and i have not tried to see if it would fit the newer rxpx260's with IBR or not. Also trim/ibr is built in so vts rod doesnt work with ibr models.
nozzle rings have been swapped for a L13 cone as the cone drops rpms the same way.

I just installed a 2 degree wedge and r&d seal , granted my ski is 05 rxt , but it really helped get the bow out of the water and the pump seal is 100% better then stock .Click image for larger version.

The Fizzle nozzle rings won't work on skis with iBR.

The extension rod isn't for skis equipped with iBR either. I haven't seen anyone use a pump wedge on the 260, but I have done it on the 300. It's not too hard to do with the new iBR design.

I have the pump seal on mine and it's awsome, my stock one was all strung out and bent to crap. Tried putting it in with wd40 but unded up putting a Verry Verry small amount of engine oil on it and it popped right into place no problem.

For the wedge, is it the bolt pattern not lining up on the 260 or maybe clearance issues to the side where the IBR sits? Thanks.

Trying to see what exactly you had to shave off.
