Impeller blade Leading edge's affect on speed

Anyone care to share results on leading edge tweaking vs top speed/acceleration/general performance?
My attempts to bend the leading edge are less than acceptable, though increasing from 15 to 17ish made it feel sluggish, but couldn't get a good top speed reading because of a laundry list of other issues. I don't want to spend the cost of a new impeller on shipping back/forth to have it tweaked a half dozen times.
I'm thinking of a 4blade 14/23 162mm from Impros. Maybe a 13/22or23. I'd like bite off the bottom while retaining mid to top.
Oh, I'll be spinning 9+ through an 83. I'm liking this Map Editor.
    What do y'all think?
