Is the inside shell under the top platform hard to remove. I want to start doing some of the work myself but I am unsure of removing the shell.

My wife loves our 09 Is. I don't like the hassle of the deck, so I have our dealer on the lake maintain it. 112 hours and only an ibr issue fixed under warranty ,and then had the blower rebuilt @ 100 hours. It's a comfy ski.

Agree, there are pros and cons to everything.
Agree, if you like modifying things they are hard to work on.
Agree, its heavy and stable a high speed and loves the chop.
And Agree, it depends on what type of riding you like.

for me, I ride the river, and at most times all day. 2+ tanks of gas. I can get off my GTX 260is and feel human tomorrow. When we would ride like that with my RPX and GTR, i was very sore and my hands would get tired.

So for me and the wife, we love the suspension models, and am glad to have them. I'd rather not go back.

I bought the X model and it is top heavy until you get up to speed then the adjustable trim tabs make it feel like your still on the trailer. Its heavy and stable a high speed and loves the chop but its no CC racer. Just depends on what type of riding you like.

I enjoy the ski, but the problem is every time it maintained it cost one labor hour just to get to the insides. Also is there anywhere on this forum for the maintenance schedule of a Seadoo. I.e. Oil changes, spark plugs, fuel injectors, and anything specific to the suspension models.

You are correct Chris... The full electronic IS suspension is gone for 2017!!! They only have S models with the manual adjustment for PRE-LOAD only and it is adjusted under the seat with a wrench.
