That seems like a bad idea on a nano hull.

Yup local shop does it and it works BUT i wouldn't trust the shop with my jetski in their possession or any local shop in miami.

Doesn't effect anything, most of the guys running over 100 with a supercharger here have it done.

Your right! I wouldn't! But some say it adds more flow into impeller, thus more speed.

Can you show us more about it? Is it reinforced above the shaved area? How much is shaved?

It effects handling though from what ive been told and from others who have it done ive heard it doesnt effect anything but those guys dont ride in tight areas. It gives the water a straight shot to the intake grate. They claim it makes a 2-3 mph difference.

It is just the middle strake on the hull shaved down a bit.

3 or more MPH depending on the speed of the ski. I hear shaving off too much can cause overstuff issues so it's recommended to shave off a little at a time.

Theres more to it then just shaving that section. If you do not know what or how to do it then best thing you can do it stay far away from touching it or just take it to the ppl who do know.

Some ppl have gained up to 6mph
