Is there any noticeable gains or do people run the waterbox just for better sound?

Riva claims 15hp on modified craft and dyno proven. I only have a few runs on mine and it seems to hit harder and no trashed o2 and it sounds great! ☺

I run a Riva waterbox and through hull. It doesn't seem much louder than the free flow I had previously and drones way less. Sounds much more aggressive. I gained at least 1 mph with these two changes.

TDR will toast your 02 sensors left and right.

You can save 10% off the Riva box with that greenhulk discount code in this store

Jerry is 100% correct and this is why I'm running the Riva waterbox now and have not had any o2 problems yet! (Thanks again Jerry ) The TDR was causing to many problems unfortunately.

I noticed this with my TDR waterbox it holds water alot more over a stock gutted box, im putting a reducer fitting in the waterline to the exhaust to dry out the waterbox though, have any of you guys done this?

That's the the problem with them! I was going to try that but I was sick of trashing my o2's and the other issues i had with it. So I switched over to the riva and been problem free ☺

Sadly, that won't do a thing except starve your waterbox for much needed cooling water.
The problem is the TDR exit pipe doesn't protrude far enough down into the waterbox to properly evacuate water.
