    Dean's team reflash?

I have a 2015 fzs stock with only mods of riva ribbon delete, riva power filter, and candoopro gps module. Would consider an ecu reflash but I do have the extended warranty as I was concerned about the timing chain problem. I would be interested in having my ski running the best way acceleration-wise and top speed to 75 or so with good holeshot. Would the level 1 or level 2 Dean's reflash be desirable without jeopardizing the warranty if I had timing chain problems down the road? Is this worth considering? Thanks for any information.

75mph? Bro, all you need is a SCOM and you'll do 75mph all day long.

Ok is there any advantage with a "mild" reflash vs a scom?

We will see if your claim is true, I'm installing the SCOM this weekend and a Ribbon Delete, along with Cold Air Intake. We will see if I hit 75mph once all those mods are installed. I plan on doing an R&D Intake Grate and doing the Dean's Team Reflash then.

Yes, big difference! The reflash is going to give you better acceleration and more speed than a SCOM.
You may also consider the V-Tech MaptunerX bundle package. With the MaptunerX unit you can flash the ski back to stock any time you bring the ski to the dealer for service work. My FZ SVHO ran 77 mph bone stock with no mods and only a basic reflash. More info here http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=247630

and same with R&D, you just have to ship the ECU back to get it flashed back to stock. My point was, with the MaptunerX you can flash back to stock without even removing the ECU from the ski, takes less than 60 seconds, and same story when you go to put the tune back onto the ecu. Very simple and easy to use system!

Deans,R&D,& maptuner are somewhat similar in performance, but the added Benefit of doing a reflash without mailing your ECU somewhere, then waiting (and hoping it doesn't get lost) LOL,I'd go with maptuner.

Ok thanks guys. I appreciate everyone's input. If I had not already invested in the extended warranty for future problems, I would not hesitate for the reflash. I guess there are many 2014 2015 svho owners not concerned with these problems.
