2016 RXP-X 300 - Stock Stage II riva tune without the mods does 79MPH

    Hey guys

Just a heads up on some testing I have done. I have a buddies 2016 RXP-X 300 with zero mods but I added a Riva Stage II tune to it. We didnt add the "required" prop or Air intake kit but it hit 79MPH on the dash in the following settings:

    - Riva Stage 2 Tune
    - no Mods
    - 28 Degree Celsius or 82.4 Fernhieght
    - Very smooth lake
    - Fairly high Humidity
    - 3 Bars of Fuel in machine
    - 93 Octane Fuel
    - Trim fully Up
    - 9 hours on ski
    - 180lb Rider
    - Max RPM - 8040rpm

On a cooler day I think it will do 80mph for sure. Just though I would throw this out their as food for thought.

Are there any better tunes out there yet that do not show up on the Maptuner X unless by request that would yield better results on a stock 300 ski ?

So what rpm was it turning before the tune and what is the lake temperature? Like what did the tune get you if you didn't get anymore rpm than stock 8040?

i went 75gps on two back to back averaged runs on 2 bars on just, the scom back when I could hit 8040 in salt water in a farply limited space.

79 dash is probably right at 77mph GPS. that jut seems a bit faster than I would believe you'd be able to run at 8040rpm even on light fuel. But I suppose on a super flat lake with lots of run room it could be done. Impressive result for sure.

Mine shows 8260 at 81 on the dash. 8040 could be. Mine when stock would back down to 7600 for the 69 on dash. So the numbers are not like a 260.

79 is impressive with no other mods. How accurate is the speedo?

speedo is about 1.5-2 mph on the high side. 79 is closer to 77, which is right in line with what many are seeing with a reflash
