Wave Raider 760 Handlebar Grip Replacement

    Hey guys,

I wanna swap out my grips for some new grips. I have a set of Oury ATV/Snowmobile grips sitting in my garage I wanna use, but Im curious about the way the trim system works on the left side. Is there a "throttle" tube that extends under the whole grip? If so, would a modified dirtbike grip work if i make the cut out for the trim adjuster?

Basically, I wanna use different (better) grips, but im unsure what needs to go into making it work.

There is a tube underneath. Most grips have one that accommodates a throttle tube. Use that on the trim side.

There's some good write ups doing the same thing on here, try the search and see what comes up.

I changed my grips to ODI and did it a bit different, I cut the tube off, clamped the ODI grip to the bar so it doesn't move and just twist the trim with my thumb and finger. Works great. Your grips may slide onto the tube though

photos below are the tube with rubber removed, and mine without the tube, grip clamped

This is exactly what I wanted to see. I searched around but I was more so interesting in knowing what the whole piece looked like. I'm going to cut the tube off and then use the same method you do for trim adjustment. Its not like I adjust trim that often that this will be a hassle. The better grips will make up for it!

    Thanks for the help guys!
