Arrow Polaris 5432413 Plastic Battery Cover

Yes, that same plastic battery cover that so many people leave off and fry the electrical system.

Well, I need one or two, please.

If you have one available or happen to know where one might be hiding let me know.

    Or a good alternate/substitute.

Still need a couple of these.

Is there a non-Polaris battery cover that would fit?

If it is not out of your way, yes please.

I am bemused and annoyed that such a simple thing is proving to not be easy to get my hands on.

Thinking about all the Polaris PWC over the years that have burned out wire harnesses because the battery cover was not installed, what do people DO with these things that they just disappear?

How many do you need? and what is your price point? in case John does have some I suppose i should look in my own parts pile, as I have parted a few skis..... which would lead me to believe...i have at least one laying around...but if my math is right should have 3 extra laying around......if only my garage was not a disaster....

I would like at least two, three would be nice to have a spare on hand for the future.

John tends to price fairly. I would expect around $10 each, maybe $15 ?

Plus something for shipping of course.

I have not looked at John's used parts web site in awhile, no idea if there are any battery cover posted there.

Does not have to be Polaris OEM cover, another brand is OK with me as long as it is snug enough and thin enough to fit under the metal battery saddle bracket. I am using the full saddle style that was used on some Genesis and also held the EMM, so a rather bulky bracket with a snug fit over the battery top.

Traction mat would be too thick a material. There is tight clearance under the metal battery clamp saddle.

    The hunt continues...
