    RXT runs rough/stalls at idle when cold/ runs fine when warm

    Boat facts:
    2006 RXT 215
    470 Hours currently
    Recent service:
    Jet pump rebuilt and oil changed by dealer at 436 hours
    Supercharger rebuilt and water box replaced by dealer at 400 hours
    all 3 ignition coils replaced by me at 380 hours

    Issue:
    -This has been my first winter of year- round running
    - starting in December (455 hours) there would be a slightly rough noise at startup, would go away once warm, i figured this was due to cold
    - on a 78 degree day I went out and the noise still happened - not directly related to cold apparently
    - around 465 hours the ski would sometimes stall soon after starting up if you throttled up a bit and then let off suddenly
    - my last two journeys (468 and 470 hours) the ski has stalled after starting up and letting off throttle
    - I have had to manually throttle to 2,000 RPM to keep the engine from shutting off until it is warm (2 minutes)
    - once the engine is warm (after about 2 minutes) it idles and runs beautifully
    - there are no warning P codes or beeps
    - it starts up fine out of water, seems to only stall out "under the load of water through the pump" if that makes sense
    Has anyone heard of this? Any direction to go in? My dealer does not fill their "jetski testing bathtub" until May...

    plugs last done June 2014 at 359 hours... so they have 111 hours / 22 months of use on them. factory interval is 200hr/24 months - I suppose I am close on time and they are a cheap item - I will have that done and report back

    I change my plugs every 3 months of hard running

    Those plugs are olllllllllllddddddddddddd For real, they are so cheap it's at least once a year replacement item. If you ever fogged the engine they would get covered in crap.

    Idle motor is also a likely culprit.

    I replace my plugs twice a season. I change them after fogging oil has burned off and about half way through the season, around 40 hours.

    IAC or plugs. Try plugs first because it's easy and cheap to try and 100 hrs on plugs is about max from what i've seen.
