If the cat fell apart it would overheat. You may have gotten a great deal on the one. Oil pumps never fail, the lines do. I would rering those pistons if clearances are correct, rebuild and rejet carbs to osb's recipe, and enjoy it. Great find!

Since I have made this post I have changed the number 3 piston got aftermarket f/a and started with the carb settings u spoke of. But u have turned number 1 and 2 up more as number 1 looked lean but runs great has a little flooding on first take off a few being in no wake zone
