    On the older style skis without the new deck, 3/4 inch fitting out the back works well.

    Why do Yamaha's and Kawasaki's get breathers and Seadoos catch cans?

    because the Yamaha engines have baffled breathers.... kind of like an internal catch can. If you just put a breather on a rotax motor it would puke oil everywhere, you need a catch can to catch the oily vapors.

    That makes sense. Thanks for the follow-up.

    BMW went through this with N54 motors. Next generation N55 and my S55 don't have nearly the same issues.
