You guys like these trailers because they hold up better to the salt water or is there more to it than that?

That's my primary concern, plus not having maintenance free hubs.

Not sure if their torsion axle models have those hubs or not...

The trailer I bought is a 2007 and the frame is in near new condition (less a little cleaning it needs), so it appears they're bullet proof.

My understanding is that all models and years of Triton watercraft trailers have standard trailer wheel bearings.

All recent Triton watercraft trailer models (and perhaps all models ever?) have either Sure-Lube or EZ-Lube axle hubs, whereby fresh grease can be pumped in and push the old grease through the bearings and out of the hub. Regreasing is as easy as connecting the grease gun to the nipple in the outer end of the axle stub and pumping in fresh grease until all the old grease has been displaced.

On Sure-Lube leaf spring axles the old grease exits from the back of the hub into the hollow axle, where it stays forever. On the Sure-Lube torsion axles the old grease falls out the back of the swing arm via a weep hole.

The EZ-Lube hubs are similar but the old grease comes out around the outside of the hub.

I often see the names of these two hub types interchanged. The result is the same in terms of getting fresh grease into the wheel bearings, but I find that the rubber disc used to seal the access hole dust cap on EZ-Lube hubs tends to fall out or allow water to seep in, especially after a few years.

The Sure-Lube dust cap has a grease nipple right on the cap.

Cleaned the trailer with a pressure washer and NAPA aluminum brightener.

Used 1.5 bottles. Did the initial cleaning with the pressure washer, then sprayed it down with brightener, let it set for a couple of minutes, clean with pressure washer again and repeated those steps 4-5 times.

    Before and after pics...

Another member added round bumpers (Stoltz bow stop rollers) to the rear corner steps to prevent hull damage if the hull happened to get too close.

Triton may sell replacements for those gray soft plastic end caps located on the winch tower base ends. They tend to discolor over time. I should order replacements for my own Triton
