excellent, the latch and bumpers can be bolted on before putting the foam on.will the edge hold a staple without cracking?

I never found a staple that would consistently go through the fiberglass so I glued the rubber trim on putting the thicker part to the inside to staple the cover to, but with the latch already on it was very difficult to staple the cover in that area so i made a plate threaded it put it between the base and foam then put the cover on and bolted the latch on. I also glued the cover to the base with contact cement for extra support.

Do you still have one of these seat bases available? also I am kind of confused about how to get the cover to stay on if you can't staple, could you post a picture of how it is done?
