    flat water 310r mod suggestions?

Hey guys I'm looking to buy a 310r and I know they are the best ski in the choppy water, most of my riding will be in flat water (around 70% of the time) what are the best bang for your buck mods to help with flat water acceleration and top speed?

    Thanks

Like the 300x the Riva plate will bring the bow up for a little more speed and a 2* pump wedge will redirect pump thrust more evenly and of course you MUST have a SCOM but the best thing you do to make your 310 flat water fast is a reflash which will give you noticeably improved acceleration and most reflash tuners will include the SCOM so that's all for around $1000 and should put you around 73-75 mph and will be the best you can be for flat water top speed with great holeshot and midrange ,I found the Accel from a pump wedge when you cruising around 30 mph makes you really take off .You can also put more air into the hull and exhaust air out thru various custom ram air designs to give you a little more Accel it's been written on this site...

Aftermarket Intake grates like Stock R&D ,Riva ,Worxs and Impellers Solas,Stock ,Skat Trak are debatable as which makes improved difference in more flat water speed,I believe for straight line flat water riding it won't make a difference though never tried Worx which someone said slows you down for top speed...

You can take it another level and put in a slightly smaller and lighter SC pulley wheel ,it will give you a little more boost(1-2lbs)and possibly 1-2 mph ...I'll be putting one in this Spring though I mostly ride in choppy waters..GL

Any decent refresh won't need a scom....
It should be done in the tune!!!
What end result are you hoping for?
Because there is a realistic point the 310won't do on glass

you know what I meant, with the reflash besides the advance timing and improved fuel curve will remove the rpm/speed limiter on their tune...

btw although I have the 300 with an R&D reflash which I luv all the Accel in the world won't get me past 67 unless I added a SCOM or A Candoo speed GPS

SCOM and air mods= cheapest start. could be exactly what you're looking for right there. You can add more if you're still not satisfied but if 73-75 is your goal you should be real close with just those

    The Ultra love fresh air.
SOCOM + RnD Plate + air mods + block off plate = got me to 73 MPH.

Pretty sure with a less aggressive grate and 2* wedge will get me over 74MPH

if budget is a top priority get the VTECH reflash ,a reflash with speed limiter removed for $675 you get the Accel and top speed in one..according to Jerry it hits like a cement truck!!
