    Removing water from the hull below the bilge pump level

    How to you drain that last quart or two of water that is still in the hull that is below the bilge pump suction level ?

    12" car washing sponge. I can empty a footwell after a wash in about 60 seconds.

    Shop vac. I bought a small cheap one from Home Depot just for this purpose

    I think they make something called a sponge. Not to be confused with Sponge Bob Square Pants or the sponge your girlfriend might use.

    Very funny, but I think if he uses his girlfriends sponges,he would need at least a case!,but I digress,use the same "sucker/Vaccum"(not an Electrolux) that u use to remove oil from engine.

    I just use an old shop towel or shake siphon, also great for getting all the gas out of the tank...
