    Odd VXR Ribbon Question

    If you had to re-install the ribbon in a
    ‘Stock Class’ legal N/A 1800 (Air Filter,
    8350 ECU w/prop pitched for 8160, plus
    all the handling stuff) how much perf.
    will be lost. All my step by step testing
    was done with the ribbon removed...
    because I put the Air Filter on at the
    same time I removed the ribbon.

    So has anyone ever tested the
    difference with just the ribbon removed
    and everything else unchanged/constant.
    I’m pretty sure there would be a noticeable
    diff, just want to know how much.

    Do RXP/Ts and/or Kaw Ultras have ribbons/
    screens downstream of the Throttle Body?

    I tested both ways holeshot and acceleration decrease but top end was the same I have stock ecu you might have repitch your prop with the reflash.

    I actually have when I first got it. I only noticed low end grunt but that was almost 3 years ago.
