I used to own a pair of turbo SC300's in the early 2000s, the fastest Supra's in the world always came out of Texas. There used to be FL/TX grudge race events.

I didn't even know those cars were still a thing, they're like 26 years old. I haven't seen one in years on the road.

Nice! Well, the reason for Supra's coming from Texas is simple. There are still to this day many shops that modify them. Powerhouse, Boostlogic, JMS Racing, Autobanh, etc..... My Supra is not fast though

This is coming from experience simultaneously owning two of them highly modified:

Leave it stock, don't touch it.

My Supra MKIV Twin Turbo is on stock twins and just lightly modified. Hasn't given me any trouble at all, just minor maintenance.

Is that what I should do with my FZS SVHO? Leave it stock? LOL

The rabbit hole on a 2JZGTE is endless and no matter what size turbo or mods you have done, you'll have 50k+ invested in the car and some kid in a BMW 335i with a JB4 tune will run circles around you that he has 15k total invested including the price of the car. Plus his car looks nicer, 15 years newer, stops faster, and turns better on a road course.

It's just my opinion, but enjoy the car for what it is, a classic japanese muscle car. Modding one today is just a waste of money there's far better options that were made in the last 26 years since that thing came out.

I'm sorry but your ignorance is kind of bothersome. A JB4 powered 335i is about as fast as a BPU Supra TT. GTFO here if you think a Supra is past it's prime, the Supra is still a viable contender there's a reason it competes well at the Texas Mile, Half mile events, 1/4 mile, etc..... Turbo companies are making better turbos with quicker spool time and power capability.

There value holds up to this time due to reliability, motor strength, and rarity. There is still not many other cars built in the early 90's that are relevant in this day and age, the Supra is one of the very few.
