I want to install a stereo in my storage bin also. How well do those speakers fit, are you able to install maybe a 6.5 in this same space instead of a 4 in? also what did you use to waterproof the backside of your speakers? Thanks. thinking about wetsounds speakers at the moment.

Thanks for the placement idea, I'm against thru hull mounting too. I have 4 6.5"'s on the way, 2 will go where you have yours, and 2 on the storage bin lid. I'll post my setup when complete.

I ended up going with a BOSS Audio MC900B (2) 6.5" in the storage bin and (2) 5.25" in the bin lid. I have the stereo and leds on 2 different waterproof toggle switches and the stereo control flush mounted in the dash. Sounds great at all speeds and everything is replaceable that was cut, no damage to the hull. Here's a few pics

Would love to be cranking some rock-n-roll while jumping but I know I would end up breaking more crap if I did it. LOL! Any ideas on water proof headsets that would be secure enough to ride with in rough conditions?
