    150 Speedster trim adjustment

What position do each of you have this set at, bow up or bow down?

Never noticed that but I've only had the boat for a couple months now. Mine is in the trim down position like your picture. I'll have to give the other a try. Might get bouncy? My 255 gpsed at 58/64 upstream vs. downstream. Maybe it'll do more

I'm considering adding VTS to my Speedster. I already have some of the parts needed for this.

This past summer I tried out the bow up position and didn't gain any speed. If anything the boat may have jumped up on plane a bit more aggressively from a stand still. I ended up returning it to the original position because it was affecting neutral and reverse and didn't want to adjust the bucket position.

    Variable trim for speedster

Hi, did you ever complete the Variable Trim set up on your Speedster?
As you know, they are terrible for porpoising if you've done any mods like I've done. Even my 08 RXT-X had a variable and obviously the larger boats need it more than a PWC.
strange they didn't come with one or trim tabs?
    Thanks. Ron

No, I haven't made any progress over the winter. I have the nozzle parts, but no VTS motor/module yet.

I have all the parts off a 2008 rxp-x . I put the vts drilled hole for it and is currently installed and working.

It is not yet connected as the vts nozzle the one that moves up and down doesnt fit with the bracket the boats use for reverse bucket. It hits this bracket.

Also will need a shorter vts rod, not a problem for me as i have an aluminum adjustable and can cut and weld to size. The rod will hit the reverse bracket and bracket will need to be modified ( cut n welded) for it to work correctly. On top of all this it will hit the boarsing ladder and flow into reverse bucket when angled up.

If there was any way to use the stock ski reverse bucket it would just be so much easier. Everything bomts rught up. But i couldnt figure out how to get the reverse cable to work on that style setup.
