I want to see it, but I have to wait until I get back home. Looks pretty cool, but I can't see Jack Black playing a serious role in a movie... should be interesting to say the least.

I would like to see it on the big screen. The movie Im sure will be worth the ticket price.
Jack Black....I think he will do well, Esepcially if he wants to be a bigger star than he is. There are only so many funny movies to be in.

Look froward to your reviews. As it was made in New Zealand and directed by a NZer, we have a particular interst in it. Hope to get to see it next week also.

At first I thought "I cant believe they are making this for the third time!"
But then I saw that it was getting very good reviews. I LOVE movies but I no longer love going to the theater. I hate all the commercials they now play.
So I invested in an awesome home theater media room. Now I prefer to stay home and watch movies.
However after seeing the reviews I am pretty sure I will go see it and I am sure I will rent or buy it when it comes out.
I have rearly seen reviews like this

Ok heres my review
Special effects-insane
Story line-well its classic so its awesome
Acting-Great
A little long, but the movie was spectacular. The scenes between Kong and the Dinosours are amazing, and Jackson added in some scenes that show a little more detail to the relationship between Kong and Anne.
I reccomend to go see it. I will be seeing it again on the 21st.

Here is a guy from the San Francisco Chronicle that gave it a 25 out of 100. He hated everything about it.

I want to go see it but my wife wont let me.
She wont sit through a 3 hour movie. I like the idea becuase I get to go on a date with her and don't have to talk to her for 3 hours!
If I did convince her to see it and she didn't like it, no matter how much I liked it, it would not be worth it.
Plus, I have no friends so I would have to go by myself.
I guess I am waiting for the video. Actually I prefer to watch movies in my home theater anyway. ( at least I am trying to convince myself of that)

I didnt realize that. Maybe if Liza Minelli or better yet, Tom Cruise was the love interest of king kong they would have liked it better.
