    Overheat - out of ideas

Hey guys, my 02 turbo will throw an overheat alarm after about 35-40 minutes of riding hard. I can cool it down and ride again, but want to know if there is something I can do to keep it running cooler. I went through every water line this winter and I'm sure there's no debris. 100% freshwater ski. My lake water is warm though, 80 degrees in central texas. Wondering if its just always going to be something to watch for or if I can solve it.
    Ideas:
    1. I don't have a factory oil filter on, if I'm restricting oil flow could that slow cooling?
    2. I don't have the pill in the turbo. Instead I put in a manual boost controller (really because I couldn't source a pill). It seems dialed in, but could that throw it off?
    3. I have a K&N air filter kit on.
I'm pretty sure it is getting hot. Less than a year on a new ECU and I'm terrified of overheating it. The O2 has it by the engine.
