Anyone Gone With a Riva Pump For a SVHO?

Now that Riva has come out with the correct Riva 12v pump to still utilize the SVHO shaft & 3rd seal setup - Has anyone with a SVHO upgraded to one yet?

    http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...oducts_id=2681

Had done the full SVHO pump w shaft & a Solas on my last ski, and it did work really well, just wondering if it may be worth going with the Riva SV setup for this go round..

Any Riva Pump reviews in general? Under the impression that 1-2mph may be lost on top (at the same boost levels), just looking for the best holeshot & keeping loaded offshore.. Sooo SVHO 8v or da SV Riva w right around 18-20#'s?

ha, GH speak for hey MF's! ?

Ask Henry, with 18+ boost he seems very happy with the SVHO setup, if I remember correctly the value for the SVHO setup outweighed the Riva setup.

ps-I still have your twin, I still have to give Jim a call to see if I'll be need it for my next phase.

    Hey Chupacobra,

    Thanks for the good word.

Jim definitely had me hooked up running the SVHO pump n Solas 13/20 in my last ski.. Just wanted to test the waters here about the Riva, before dropping the coin on another full SV setup. It really is craaazy how well the SV pump works, when everything is dialed in!

    Hey Wayne,

I will try to do a pump swap to test hopefully before this season is over. The svho pump hooks really good though with the solas prop.

Thanks chupacobra you are 100% correct. 09 fxsho with 19 psi. wheel, 160 solas impeller with a 87mm nozzle and a stock 6 vein pump turning 9350-9400 rpm was good enough to take 3rd. place in the hydro drags

    Thanks John,

We all know the SVHO pump setup right is the ticket, but I will still be quite interested to see how well the 160 Riva pump may work with the much larger FX tunnel..

Hope you are enjoying the hell outta BOTH your badd azz skis!!
