Whats Everyones opinion on the Riva Ride Plate.......

So we have received a new 2015 FZS SVHO from Yamaha to set up and run in stock class,
I have a new untested riva ride plate in my shop just wondering for the guys who have tried it if its worth it or not???

It's ok for rough water but defiantly not as good as the stock plate on the boat and the stock plate is faster also. The best think to do is send the stock ride plate to Jim's performance and have him put his cut on it and then u will be in business

Send the stock plate to Jim. In my experiences most of the aftermarket plates perform worse than stock in rough water.

jason the stock plate modified yields the biggest gain

i know your referring to the svho's. but with the SHO the riva ride plate was good in chop, and out run most other plates,put it on glass water against a stock vx plate i saw 3mph difference between the two.

seems people are getting great gains from stock modified plates.
