It has a slipper clutch similar to the seadoo style. I can't really say that it is a solution to the problem. Because most people who run the billet charger is for the big wheels. Big wheels are not clutch friendly to a point. Still all comes down to how you ride it also. I have seen some clutches last 5 hours and some last 55 hours.

I tried to find info on them as well and couldn't find much. Couldn't find much on the R&D Superclutch either. I ended up buying the latter and am still trying to dial it in. It's hard with not much information to go off of.

Yes the Superclutch has adjustable slip and replaceable clutch discs or washers. I'm using a R&D wheel that makes about 18lbs at 8900. I'm still trying to figure out where my slip has to be for my boost level. It seems like the recommended settings are a bit soft.

extrapoliting from the et wheels running at 9000 rpm, an 18 lb wheel would have to be around 11-12 flb. where did you set yours to?

R&D recommends 160inlbs. My unit was at 200inlbs and still seems like it's slipping too much. I did buy it used and am wondering what shape the discs are in. I really won't know if tightening it up helped until I can ride it, hopefully in the morning.

13.3 = 160 in lb, 16.5= around 200 IN lb. I assume the r&d wheel is a little bit heavier than the et wheel. Still 16.6 ftlb is high! I would call et and see what they recommend and i would also make sure the torque wrench you have is properly calibrated. Good luck!
