Things to do while engine is out?

So my engine and pump are currently out of the ski. Is there anything I should do or replace while they are out?

I'd install a secondary tiny bilge to suck the water out from under the engine. That lower area never drains on it's own.

If the water lines are your original lines it might be a good idea to swap for new hoses....and clamps too!

Check if your hull registration numbers matches your pink slip, relocate your mpem to a better dry place like I did. Inspect your fuel tank for FOD. Bleach out your hull. Look for tale tell signs of anything rubbing on your hull. ie, cooling hoses rubbing inside the hull. There will be dark rubber marks, pay attention to those marks. There is a cooling hose under the exhaust. Mine was rubbing, so I protected it with another hose cut and zipped tie it. Have fun.
