GP1200R Bilge pump
Hello just got my 2000 gpr running and was reading all the threads here that i can and i saw the bilge pump and was wondering how does it work and is it any good and read that there is 2 of them ? I see the one under the couples where is the other & how do they work ?

Stock ski comes with a siphon bilge. Its basically a strainer in the bottom behind the engine with the tube going out the rear jet nozzle. The high speed water from the jet "pulls" excess water out of the hall. Many people opt to add a second electric bilge, since a siphon bilge is no good if the engine isn't running.

ok thanks helsinky im getting some water inside and was just wondering how that thing worked I may also put in a electric one

Definitely get an electric one. There are many cautionary tales on pwc forums about people coming out to the dock to find a sunk ski.
