    01 virage 1200 jet pump coupler

    Ive been threw 3 couplers off ebay all used from same guy he is trying to get me a good one but hasent had any luck yet. Is there any other opitions to use on my ski that I could buy new or redesigned?

    You sure its not your drive shaft?

    splines are perfect on the shaft you can see where the rubber is melting from center piece turning in the rubber

    If your engine is stock power then an undamaged rubber coupler should hold together and just work.

    There are solid SS couplers that were OEM on some older models. I think the solid coupler will screw right on and fit without issue. Look up the SL780 as an example of the solid coupler part number, going from memory.

    The SL 650 and 750 used the solid coupler as well as the Pro 785s. The difference is that the alignment must be spot on if using a solid coupler on a straight splined shaft like the long shafts are. Otherwise it will be really hard to slide the shaft into the coupler. The short drive shafts have crowned splines for use in the solid couplers

    what about taking the stock coupler and shaft and putting it in a drill press. Drill a hole all the way threw and put a roll pin threw it?
