Will a 2015 310lx seat shown in the picture below fit the 2012 300x?

I honestly dont think the seat base itself has changed since 2007, id say yes

Can someone confirm that the LX seat (2015 models) are more 'plush' than the SE? I just bought an SE and need to sit at times (especially when I take my kids out). I don't like the seat enough that I'm either going to sell the ski or have a custom seat made. Any thoughts??? Anyone want to buy at 310SE with 6 hours on it? Much appreciated in advance.

I did this swap on my '12 300x. It's a far better seat. It fits better and feels better. Not so sure on how much more plush it is. It actually felt lower but softer maybe. I only rode it once and sold the ski.
