Statioinary fins in pump?
I know there important but how important? i had some rocks go through the pump replaced the liner and prop but i notived some half golf ball size chuncks missing out of those fins. What do they do exactly? im running it for know and it seems to run good. Is it a top speed affect or hole shot? Thanks.

If you are talking about the fins that are on the pump shoe (plastic piece mounted to your jet ski) then just take and grind them all smooth. If not, you will get cavitation if trying to accelerate hard.

Because the impeller spins in one direction, the water it forces through the pump tends to move in that direction. The fins counter that water column "spin". So they're important for stability. If you don't have a big problem with a stability change, I wouldn't worry about it. I had chunks the size of a quarter torn out of almost all of mine, and it worked fine. Replacing the pump housing normally just isn't worth it.
