    2015 FZS clutch?

I see there are issues with this, just to clarify;on microfiche, its part # 6et-17800-00-00,and its called gear unit assembly?if this is the clutch to the supercharger,is it a plate clutch (like on a motorcycle),or a "roller bearing type"?(looks like the latter)...and it looks like there is no parts breakdown for this,as it looks like you buy it as a unit, and you cant rebuild it?!??!!

Roller bearing type. Yamaha used to make the sprag on it's own so you could rebuild it, and it was like $80. But it has been discontinued.

it's actually replaced as an entire assembly, not rebuildable

Not really. The R&D Superclutch is used in conjunction with the stock clutch to improve life. And the Riva damper. That's about it.

+1 this sucks and gets really expensive. Makes you really think about modding or even having a super charger at all.

my stock 09 clutch lasted 161 hours on modded ski. Was replaced under warranty with a 2013 clutch. It just went this past sunday with 22 hours on it. 2015 clutch going in soon.

The first failure pays for it, and we know it's coming.
