Will I hit the RPM Limiter

Looking for your input if I'll hit the limiter with the follwing mods:

    Riva Stage 1
    13/18 depitch prop
    Jim's Ride Plate
    Leo's Wedge
    Fizzle Y1000

Secondly, does replacing the intercooler void the warrantee?

    Your input is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

You will absolutely hit the limiter. I hit the limiter the minute I installed the ribbon delete. Had Jim pitch a Solas to 13/18 and that got me off the limiter. When I installed the Fizzle I was back on the limiter at about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle!

Buy the Lucky 13 pump cone, you will be off the limiter again. That will bring RPM down.

the riva parts are the only ones authorized by Yamaha to be installed with no issues you will have to fight with them using the moss-magneson act protecting consumers using aftermarket parts so id say stick with mostly riva to have no issues with warrenty.

best advice is to contact the service dealer that you plan to take it if anything happens and ask them what will void your warranty. don't go by he say she say. go to the source

Yamaha can deny a warranty claim for any brand part being installed, including Riva, unless you can prove it did not cause the issue that resulted in the warranty claim to begin with.

that is what the moss-magnuson act is
Right, but I'm just clarifying that Riva parts are not somehow exempt.
