    2008 rxp-x or 2007 rxp

I am new to this site, and have a couple questions!

Looking for some help on buying a jet ski. I am looking at two different ones and need some help.

The first jet ski is a 2008 rxp-x with 60 hours. It looks very clean. The seller is asking $5,999 but is flexible on the price.
The second one is a 2007 rxp. It has 160 hours, stock, and also looks like it was taken care of. The seller has not gotten back to me about if the supercharger washers have been replaced. The seller is asking $5299, but I think I can work on the price too.

I currently have a seadoo xp and want something else to ride on.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Big difference in hours, with the 08 you know there was no washer failure.

I'd go with the RXP-X unless you can score the 07 for like $1500 less and get proof of charger rebuild and hours.

I like the red 07 paint/decal configuration more.

To many ifs at 160 hrs I'd definitely go w the 08 without seeing them..go meet both guys and try to get a feel for how they are and how they care for their stuff

if it makes a difference, I don't plan on doing any mods. (that can change later). Since I already have the XP and a jet boat, I really don't want to spend more than $5000. My max would be $5500 for the rxp-x. The are both for sale from dealers, so Im not too sure they will have any service records or anything.

Besides the hours and a year newer, is there anything major that makes the X better?

I ended going up with the rxpx. It was very well taken care of, just needs a little wash. I ended up talking them down to $5000 out the door.

I Really appreciate the help you guys have given!

Good choice. ... I had a 2008 rxpx255 and it was amazing. Really good ride and they are really easy to take It to 75 to 76mph GPS.
What i had on it was R&D AquaveinIntake Grate, 4” KanaFlex air intake with Seadoo Centre 4” S/C adapter, Riva Intake Manifold Upgrade Kit, titanium valve spring retainers, ECU reflash - 8650 rpm, Solas 15/20 pitched impeller, and It did 75 constantly and a good day 76.

Yeah that's what everyone keeps telling me! I'm not too sure about mods yet. Might just enjoy it until the summer is over, then decide what I'm gonna do.
