I have a 1996 900ZXI that got way to much water inside , everything was underwater I drained then tried to start it was locked up. I pulled plugs and cranked it over to get water out of cylinder . tried to start after that never tried to fire , now wont even crank . I bypassed box and starter cranks . I am a new rider and don't have a service manual. I don't know if it died while they were riding it ,was told it wasn't .

It is VERY important that you get all the water out as soon as possible!!! Water can rust the crankshaft/rod bearings in a day or so.
