What kind of wax and or polish are you using?

Hi everyone, I just picked up an 09 ultra 260x. The black is a little faded and not shiny anymore. I was wondering what products you used in the past for your jetski's that had good results? Thanks

Try a lil wet sanding with a 2500 in a corner, then polish with a good carnauba wax and check if it brings the shine back...

There is a difference between polish and wax. Use polish if you need to get mild oxidation off, otherwise I use a clay bar, then do a coat of Klasse All in one sealer followed by a coat of collinite 845. This is the best combination of products I've found for my truck and boats after buying years of crap and somewhat decent products, but spending a chit ton. The deep shine is amazing, You won't be disappointed and won't spend a bunch, plus this stuff last a long time both in the bottle on on the hull...

That stuff is the "sh*t" !!!!!!!!!

the 925 works equally as well. Amazing Products !!!

Easy on, easy off, and durable as durable can be.

One of the VERY best products I have ever used - EVER !!!

Thanks for all of the help! I will defiantly try the collinite stuff next time. I would have to order online and need to get this done soon. I will probably stick to Meguires then. Should i use Meguires polish and then their wax? Or only do one. Also how can i restore the faded black trim? Thanks!

I have heard this works very well for the black. I bought some but I have not had a chance to try it.

The wipe new stuff is nothing more than a silicone bases product similar to "Back to Black" from mothers or whoever else makes a similar product. For the most part it's snake oil, which oddly enough any kinda oil would work but once it washes off you will get a faded look again..

And Spooling, try the Klasses All in one under the 845 or 925, you will love the shiny sealer look along with the deepness of the 845/925.. You can get the smaller bottle of Klasse for around 20 bucks, and it's the best thing you can put on your truck once or twice a year. It's also just as easy to put on and take off..

A black hull and upper hull shows EVERYTHING, every dock rash ,shoe scuff, dings and scratches especially after a few yrs of riding ,beaching and wrenching..
A lot of these products will give an instant shine and looks great but soon all the marks come back out..

Hose it down Under and over and Wash it after every ride and use one of the polishes or waxes mentioned ..

But don't get frustrated over Scuff marks..Black still looks the coolest!
