Overheating help
I have a 95 Wave Raider and I have not had it out for a couple of years but got the carbs all cleaned up and took it out tonight. I rode it for about 45 minutes tonight and it ran great, we stopped in the middle of the lake to swim for a while and when we got back on it and started it the temp light was flashing. I limped it back to the ramp but am really confused why it ran so great and then was having issues when we started it back up. Any ideas what to start looking at?
Water was coming out of the pee hole on the left side to. It was hot on m foot but not scalding hot

Are you sure the intake is clear of any debris?

I did find a service manual and have identified the water inlet and outlet for the engine. Does not seem to be any obstructions blocking the water flow. Still stumped
