Yamaha extended service contract
I'm looking to get an answer for the YES program. Can I do all my oil changes and winterizing without affecting the contract?
Thanks,
I'm New to Yamaha Ski's

I believe that you can. In fact, I think that info. came with the paperwork for the YES warranty. It also went into detail regarding the possibility that you may need to prove the work was done, via receipts for the materials and parts. I can't find the exact wording now.
Page 100 of my manual says that you can change the oil yourself, and makes no mention of voiding the warranty.

You are covered under the magnuson-moss Act of 1975.
Just keep all receipts for oil and filters.

Surprisingly both Magnusson and Moss were Democrats...
