    Turbo size?

What size turbo are u guys using? I know depends on application but I'm wanting 16-19 psi, might go as high as 20 but something safe without having to sleeve the block. I'm just starting the turbo journey and I'm just getting everything lined up.

Imho. Alot will work fine. But Use the search and look for a set up similar to what your running. Ultimately the best one will be the most efficient compressor at the boost you want to run with an exhaust turbine that keeps your egts low.

I don't really want a gigantic turbo with lots of lag, something mild with good response.

I have looked at dozens but when you don't understand the turbo numbers, is useless. I'm not familiar with turbos and not sure of turbine sizes

Start here. I dont think garretts are the best anymore, but the information is sound. Research the type of exhaust plumbing and connection points. Or you could just buy a kit from the store.. nothing on gh. Is gonna be too big..laggy maybe lol. And ( if you didnt know)your fuel map/ecu is gonna be critical.

they're described in AR or area ratios of the compressor housing and the turbine (exhaust) . When you see something like 6765 it's actually 67(compressor)/65(turbine).

That's the easy part. The hard part is the equation involving the exhaust air required to spin the turbine housing at a certain rpm to achieve the desired boost level delivered by the compressor x RPM. I let others experiment and mooch off their research

Here is exactly what you want:

There's no "turbo lag", just lots of go!

Gives you an idea for "lag" or lack of. This is 100% Rec friendly
