V-tech customer service SUCKS! Going to R&D - Questions
After several attempts to contact them, I am done.
Does anyone have any personal experience with the R&D R2 flash on a stock TX 260?

i have experience with both Vtech and R and D. if you are simply after a tune and ride mentality and dont plan to change mods all the time the r and d flash will do just fine. My experience was not the best with R and d the tune was finicky, threw check engine codes on me and the ski had no bottom end power as something in the tune was preventing power from coming on too quick. Others have had better luck than me. I much prefer Vtech, the customer service does leave something to be desired at times though.

Your best bet is go Motec.
I'm good with Vtech my self but Motec is your next best programmable option.

Well unfortunately if you do anything else your not going to be happy I think since you can't re flash and tune at will.

I am going through this with vtech now, it is a joke, I own a $600 15 letter password at this point that I cannot return for my PX. Wish I threw down on a motec at this point. Live and you learn.

Lol. Love my R&D tune. Hot weather turn regulator down. Cold weather turn it up. Easy! Also the rising rate works flawless with these tunes just like it does with the Yammi's.

I have a R&D R2 tune on my 13 Tx. Stock injectors, 4" air, the FA removed from the intake, Riva gen3 IC and a 15/20 ish prop.
The ski runs 75+ all day long. It has 70 hrs on it. No afr monitoring, no data logging. Its runs 72ish 2 up in the summer.
My ski sometimes does not have great low end. It is not the tune. As I have said before. I took my ECU from my Rxpx that has a Vtech flash and instaled it in the Rxtx. The low end, low power was still there. We have theorized that it probably has a fuel pump that may be a little weaker than the one in the Px. But whatever it is, IT AINT THE TUNE.

Every guy of this forum that went to the Motec M130 has been there and done that with company V.
Expensive YES, but worth every penny and the customer support is the best on the planet. You pay for what get!
You don't see any negative posts about Motec products or support do you? Wonder why………..some get it, some don't.
