I was in Seattle many years ago and can say it was a cool city.. This is coming from someone who doesn't like cities....

Anyway, that Sound/River/Bay looks like a cool area to ride around. Good luck with the new JetSki. Lots of fogging and keep the oil changed, also check the pump at it's intervals and it will treat you well.

Thanks, will do. Yes, the Puget Sound is boater's paradise! Wish we had more people to ride with but cold water (48-5 puts many off. That may be changing though. PWCs are the fastest rising segment of boating sales in the state of WA (38% increase 2013 to 2014).

Finally had my first full day post break-in yesterday. Wowza! Stepping up from 2009 260X was easy because 310 handled just like my 260 only better. Bow feels stiffer better for crushing chop with no deflection. Better hook up and higher, drier ride (?). Much better acceleration 0 to 60 but my 260 top end was similar, 67. I am ok with 67. No plans for motor mods. GTPP all the way. Not sure why some think X seat is uncomfortable. It works great for me either sitting, crouching or standing. I like it even for long all day rides. Maybe you just get used to it after 7 years. I liked the 310R but X was less money and I thought I should get a little more subtle paint and graphics lest neighbors and friends worry Im going through mid-life crisis #3.

I hope you all are having a great summer season of PWC! Let the good times roll.

    Congrats on the purchase
Im sure you'll put 200 hours on the new beast.

It's a sad day for the last true 260x rider.
I feel like I have to find away to make more money to keep up with the Jones's.
I got a call from Antique archiology today.
They want to do a special on poor jet ski riders whom have to ride old skis.
    Awe well that's life.

    Just kidding.
Well done, there is some fuel money on the way.

Did you keep the old girl?

Thanks WOTMAN! But only 200 hrs? Heck, Im hoping to beat the 315hrs I put on 09 260X!

Unfortunately, the dealer was not interested in taking the old girl in on trade. Never seen one before with 315 hrs. So, she is semi-retired, on injured reserve, locked away in storage for now.

Dont feel bad WOTMAN. You got the best deal on Greenhulk. Youve got expert mechanic (Sirbreaks) just 30 mins down the road to keep the 260 running like a top AND he has 310 you can use anytime. Thats a pretty good gig!

From the memory book, riding the 260 in winter off downtown Seattle

Say hello to my little friend...

Got no frills Ultra so I had a little left over for an eye in the sky. Great place here for some aerial PWC footage. Main fear? Putting $1500 worth of electronics in GF's hands operating SOLO over salt water. Anything for the shot I guess.
