Help Sea doo GTR 215 a good choice?
Hey from Sweden
I want to buy a pwc. First i was 100 % sure to buy a GTI 155, but then i saw the GTR 215.
So i wonder is the GTR 215 a better chiose then the GTI 155se.
The GTR 215 have more power (60 hp) better top speed i guess?
But what about service costs, is it much more expensive to serve?
And the gas? Does the gtr drinks alot more gas then the GTI?
Please tell me all what you know about the Sea doo GTR
I need your expertise on which model I should take. I'm completely green in this area.
I live on the West Coast (open water), The watercraft will be used to go with some water skis and maybe little longer rides.
appreciate your helpLast edited by baseline; 08-21-2015 at 04:44 PM. Reason: new pwc

I'd say the added HP, and VST would be a plus if you want to pull a skier.

I agree. Worth the extra money. Get the SE version with the boarding step. Will help getting in and out of the water.

All day I'd go with the 155.
Buying left over models is a great way to save some money. New models will be unveiled in Oct. so dealers will be looking to move out the 2015's and especially if they have any 2014 left overs. Might even find a steal on a GTR 215.

The VTS (all the way down) is great when in choppy waters.

I have a 2015 130 and it pulls 2 people on a tube without a problem, we're kind of crazy so we do dumb stuff and pull each other really fast from time to time, it will pull 2 people 45 mph, 1 person 52 mph and will run 56 mph with a full tank of gas and 2 people. Only mods are removed the stock air box and replaced with a velocity stack and filled the ride plate holes

And is that speedo or gps?
I've been thinking about getting a 130 or 155 for my kids. Would like them to be able to do upper 50s, so they don't get completely left behind from my FX HOs
