Kawasaki vs Yamaha fzs
I had a chance to ride and put serious hours on my Kawasaki and coming from other side of fence I would not own or ride a Yamaha again, the hull difference is no comparison the Kawasaki is a much better ski handling, open water riding, storage, gauge pod info screen, the reverse isn't gay..... Things I don't like about Kawasaki is fuel consumption and cavitation it has on holeshot other than that it's a pretty good machine would not do a Bimini trip on anything else!!!!

Kawasaki did not go cheap on there product like Yamaha and others have its worth the extra money for Kawasaki as you get a ton more ski for that extra money

Your gonna get a ton of opinions regarding the subject of yamaha vs. Kawi, i happen to agree with you considering we own both.
My wife and i would love to do a bimini run some day, and i kinda wish i had 2 yamahas to do it with. I guess my concern is premium fuel, is it available out there ?

I don't advise it but I have ran regular fuel in it before and as long as you stay out of boost and just cruise 35 or so it works.....

You could always bring a couple of bottles of octane booster too.

Two questions, what year FZR did you ride?
What octane fuel is available in Bimini?

Cavitation on holeshot?
what is the stock pitch on the 310,the 300 is usually 13/22-23..
