PTO cover
Alright, done welded this thing up twice from cracking it. Any tipos on how to line that damn starter bendix up? I`m damn near ready to just use a pull rope and say screw this starter

Dowels line up, pump shaft in, bendix in with washers, still sit 3/16 off block. WTF! I did have to pry this cover off. It was a mutha coming off I remember that. It never was before but this time it was.

Do you have the gear on the bendix engaged the correct way.

Probably not as I see the actual bendix is still on the flywheel at all times

And just for clarification from my point of view, I think the shop manual was made by an assshole.

Thanks beerdart! Flywheel back and torqued to 3/8 impact gross as well as PTO cover to 1/4" air ratchet output as per manual. Going to store to get a 12. Thats a wrap
