Prop pitch for 4" Kana and 48-8350 tune?

Just installed a 4" Kanaflex air intake as well as a Vtech 48-8350 (Normal) tune this weekend and since I do not have much experience bending props, I am looking for suggestions on a good initial pitch to put me right around 8250. I've searched around and I am seeing 15/20 or 15/21 but I am sure some of you have been around the bush a few times.

Thoughts?

What would the difference be between a 15/20 and 15/21 performance wise? I have access to an SRZ-CD-15/21 for a good price but not the 15/20. Higher RPM's?

the problem is a 15/20 from riva or whoever or a 15/21 may not actually be that from them, but if both were true 20/21 you may see ~100ish rpm difference between the two. When i pitched my prop from a 22 to a 23 i saw a loss of about 100 rpm. to give you an example i ordered a 15/19 from riva that checked in at a 14/22 in my pitch gauge.

Thanks Branden. Do you know what the OEM pitch is on the '10 TX 260 prop?

the tx no. the px prop is a 14/20 in stock form according to my gauge. The stock 14/20 prop acts nearly identical to a solas 14/18 as i ran both props in an 82+ mph ski and they turned identical rpm.

A 15/20 should be just about right. Alot depends on your weather. I run a 15/20 in my Tx and right now I see 8100 to 8200. In the cooler months it will spin right up to 8400.

I have a Solas Prop Pitched to 12.5/18 with the SpeedFreeks Set Back Mod and SpeedFreeks Speed Cone on my RXP-X 260. I have the same mods you listed. When it is warm and the engine is heat soaked I am at 8220 RPM and 74.0 on the GPS.

I have a few more mods and run a 14/19.5 pitched from impros. At 800msl/90 air and water I'll see about 8250.
