MSX 110 & MSX 150 O2 /Oxygen/Lambda Sensor Alternative is Bosch 15733
(Some historical discussion can be found here: http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=179512, but to keep things clean I started this new thread):
I am happy to report that the Bosch 15733 (a "universal fit" option) is an acceptable substitute for the Weber MSX O2 / Oxygen/ Lambda Sensor. The heater resistance measured 9.7 ohms on the one I purchased, a good match for the nominal 9 ohms specified for the Factory version.
I bought mine at Amazon, after coupon that was available it was only $30, about 1/4 the cost of the factory version:
http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-15733-Ox.../dp/B000BZG8ZU
The Bosch 15733 can be purchased with their "Smart Link" connector system allowing you to re-use the factory wire harness connector. I made my new harness a little longer, in order to allow the splicing connector to sit in a convenient spot. Building the cable isn't too bad, just pay attention to the assembly order so that you don't have to take it apart again.
I chased an issue with my MSX150 for a long time, before fixing it with this new sensor. If your MSX is down on power, and you've checked all the usual suspects, its a good idea to replace the O2 sensor (worked for me).
You can see from the photos below that the Bosch 15733 looks nearly identical to the original one I replaced, minus the black soot
EDIT: I used the "Powerbuilt 648691 Oxygen Sensor Offset Puller" to remove and install the sensor, again from Amazon:

I'll second the this as a good, replacement option to the OEM O2 sensor.
I have one of these (Bosch 15733) on my MSX 150 and it works great. No issues.
Cheers!

For anyone looking and not wanting to swap ends. I have been using this one in my ski for a couple months and it been working great. The shipping for the 3 day i felt was very reasonable. best part is DHL actually had it on my door in 3 days from half way around the world! also if you are ordering the part is only like $42 as the site automatically adds 20% vat so it shows at $51 something.

I literally just linked you to the exact sensor that is still available for purchase. I put it in the sticky thread where people have a easier time finding it.... while I understand this is a thread for a “alternative” I don’t feel there is harm in listing a place to get the factory part.
