    Pre-Mix & Carb adjustment/jetting

    I Rebuilt a 1200 carbed engine removed oil pump and went with pre-mix.
    Plugs & Piston wash look ok - Idles fine, but sluggish when you hit the
    throttle (hole shot to mid). mid to full throttle is great...carbs (1253323-40mm)
    set at factory specs, so do I need to adjust out a bit or possibly change jetting?
    Need advise.

    BTW - Carbs rebuilt, new fuel lines, etc...

    I guess it depends on what you mean by sluggish. Is it a lean bog, or is it loaded up at idle and sputters some until it clears out?

    Sorry not really sure what a lean bog is, but it doesn't sputter, its more of a slow response- compared to my other skis that want to jump out of the water when you hit the throttle

    Does it fall on its face like it was punched in the gut? That may be lean. If it sputters then clears out and goes its rich.

    Where is your idle speed?

    Make sure the accel pump is primed and squirting fuel. Then try pumping the throttle quickly an few times and see if it gets better. That will make the accel pump squirt extra fuel and correct a lean condition.

    Adding oil to your fuel means less fuel is going through the jets and into the engine. You should have to richen it slightly to compensate for that.
