SC slipping at 10hr after rebuild or impeller pitch

So my RXP is 10 hr into SC rebuild and I just put on solas 14/19 and my RPM dropped from 8100 to about 7500.

I'm not sure what to make of this, I'm maxing out at 62 MPH GPS at 7.5k RPM.

Could the solas be putting just enough more resistance causing the SC to slip?

I bought the impeller second hand but it didn't look beat up and the seller assured me he did not repitch it.

Your probably gonna need to tweek your prop to get your Rs back...First things first..Pull Your Scer and recheck/set the slip..It now has 10 hours on it and it may need to be re adjusted after break in...Once the slip is set then take it back out and recheck your RPMs....if they are still low, which ill bet they will be,then adjust your prop accordingly..

I would say that's a little more than leaking boost. Wheel looks a little rough

Will check the slip, had a hell of a time taking the SC out last time, it was pretty much welded in there. Hopefully it will behave this time around.

Is there a way to safely lock the motor and do a slip test with the charger still on the ski?

lol, yes you can remove your cam cover and place in a locking tool (download a manual and it will tell you how to do this)
but id be pulling that charger and swapping out that wheel. looks like it ate something....

So I finally got to check my ski, the SC slip is at 110 inlb so it's not a slip issue, kinda glad.

It must be the Solas 14/19 ..since I'm down about 500 rpm it seems I need to take off 3-4 mm off the trailing edge?
